  • Botanical Description: Sansevieria trifasciata is characterized by its long, upright leaves that can grow several feet tall. The leaves are thick, succulent, and typically dark green with light gray-green horizontal stripes. The leaves are sword-shaped, stiff, and pointed, often growing in dense clusters from the base. They are usually variegated with bands of lighter color. Although it rarely flowers indoors, when it does, Sansevieria trifasciata produces small, greenish-white, tubular flowers that are fragrant.
