Botanical Description: Diodia serrulata is a low-growing herbaceous plant with prostrate stems that can reach up to 2 meters or more. The stems spread out, root, and form cushions. It has many short, upright branches with supernumerary leaves. The branches are square-shaped, hollow, and densely covered with tiny hairs, except for the winged angles which are serrated like small saw teeth.
Flowering/Fruiting: Flowering is from May to June
Plant Uses: Medicinal Uses, Wildlife Habitat and Erosion Control.
