  • Botanical Description: Cyperus digitatus is a perennial herbaceous plant that grows in clumps. It can reach heights of 30 to 60 cm. The stems are erect, slender, and triangular in cross-section. They are typically smooth and green. The leaves are linear, grass-like, and usually shorter than the stems. They are arranged at the base of the plant and have a prominent midrib. The leaves are often bright green and can be up to 20 cm long. The flowers are small and inconspicuous, typical of sedges. The fruit is a small, dry achene that is typically brown when mature.
