  • Botanical Description: Culcasia scandens is a Climbing or scrambling vine, often found in the understorey of tropical forests. Long, slender, and flexible stems. Smooth, green, sometimes with a slightly ridged texture. Can climb or scramble to heights of several meters, typically up to about 3-4 meters depending on available support. Alternately arranged along the stem. Lanceolate to ovate (egg-shaped), with the broadest part below the middle. Typically 10-30 cm (4-12 inches) in length and 5-15 cm (2-6 inches) in width. Dark green on the upper surface, lighter green underneath. Glossy and leathery, with a robust texture. Small, densely packed on the spadix.
