  • Botanical Description: Neem is a fast-growing, evergreen tree that can reach up to 15-20 meters (49-66 feet) in height. In severe drought, it may shed most or nearly all of its leaves. The leaves are pinnate with 20-30 medium to dark green leaflets. Each leaflet is about 3-8 cm long. The flowers are small, white, and fragrant, arranged in axillary clusters. Each flower is about 5-6 mm long. The fruit is a smooth, yellow-green drupe with a sweet pulp and a hard inner seed.
